Our embroidery Services Process

From high-quality polo shirts to custom hats to hoodies, we can accommodate any order, big or small. Custom patches can also be embroidered. Here’s how we do it:
Step 1:

A customer submits a design. We take that design, clean it up, and figure out the best way to embroider it onto their custom polo shirts, hats, towels, or other apparel.

Step 2:

If you’re placing a new order for five or more pieces, we’ll send you a digital copy of this updated work (a proof, for short) and ask that you approve it before printing begins. If you’re placing a re-order of any quantity or a new order for 4 pieces or fewer, we won’t send a proof unless the design is especially complex, or you request a proof during checkout or by emailing hello@myonbrand.com

Step 3:

We send the design off to our embroidery team, who quickly and carefully hoops and sews the logo onto the customer’s products.

Step 4:

Each individual piece goes through a quality assurance process, wherein additional fabric or stitches are trimmed and cleaned up, and every piece is checked, and then re-checked, to ensure complete and total accuracy.

Step 5:

We ship the order right to the customer’s door, but not before we provide them with a UPS tracking number and guaranteed delivery date.

Step 6:

The customer receives their beautiful embroidered goods, falls in love with them, shows them off to everyone they know, and posts nice things about us on Yelp, Facebook, Twitter and Google… Or just shouts it from their rooftop.

EMbroidery Disclaimers

  • Digitization is a process that converts your design file to a format that our embroidery machines can read. Each embroidery type and new       design requires a separate digitized file, and the standard digitization fee is $30. You can re-use your digitized files for future orders of the same embroidery design without additional digitizing fees.
  • We use a run stitch (a single-line stitch) for fine details in flat embroidery.
  • The generated preview on the mockup is for visual reference only and might not match the final result.
  • Due to a prominent seam in the center of the hat’s crown, there might be slight discrepancies in stitches embroidered over the seam.
  • Human involvement in the embroidery process can lead to minor variations in the exact embroidery placement on garments and  products.

Standard vs. unlimited color embroidery

Standard color embroidery: you can choose from 15 thread colors and combine up to 6 within a single design.

Unlimited embroidery: the thread can transform into nearly any color except metallic and neon. You can create multi-color, gradient, or solid-color designs with no color limitations. We use a white, recycled polyester thread that’s dyed during the embroidery process.

Tips for best results

Create embroidery-specific designs. Embroidery is not printing, so most graphics that work on other products won’t be suitable for embroidery products. The best embroidery designs are text-based graphics or simple designs with clean, bold lines. Note that your order will be put on hold if your design has intricate details. Once you’ve updated your order, we review it to ensure everything’s in check.
